Aluminium Cases

How much effect does an aluminium case have on temperatures. I have read that it is cooler because it is a better thermal conductor which sounds good in theory in practice, but does that actually have an effect on system temeratures in practice?

Specifically, I am looking at the Antec Performance Plus 660 AMG case. I can get an aluminium version of the same case for about $100 more. Is the cooling benifit worth the extra dollars for the auminium case?

With those cases I doubt that you'd see much benefit from the aluminium one over the steel except for weight. ;)
