GeForce4 Noise

Hello

I have a 'Gainward GeForce4 Ti4600 128MB' graphics card. The problem is the fan on the card is really noisy (it sounds like a hoover).

Does anyone know of any silent fans for it?

If the stock fan will come off easy with only having to remove the pins, then I would recommend Thermaltake's G4 Copper VGA heatsink and fan. The package also comes with RAMsinks. If you live in the USA, you can get one from Newegg.com or eBay. They will cost you about $20 with shipping. This fan is very quiet and the copper heatsink cools very well.

Also you may want to look into the Crystal Orb or the Blue Orb, they are both very nice HSF's. The Blur orb can be found for around $10 while the crystal one is a bit more if memory serves :thumb:
