System Fan

My computer case or motherboard never came with a system fan and I would like one, what kind would I need to get and where do I put it? There is a connector on the motherboard for a system fan.

In my temps, it says system fan 0 RPM so I know one is not installed elsewhere.

most cases have a spot at the front and one at the back for a fan, ussally 80mm.
If you want good air flow the smart fan II seems the current go.

But only monitor the fan with the motherboard, use the power supply to power it. ;)

I don't have too many power supply plugs left, anyway I could expand?

I have a pretty good PSU (400w) and no more money to upgrade to a new one so if there's any splitters or anything..?

yeah, some fans draw to much from the MoBo.

yes you cand buy spliters and the have no negative affect aslong as you don't go overboard.
