Temp trust- What should I trust?

I want to know what I should trust. Should I trust my Koolance case with the probe or my Soyo Dragon Ultra Patinum? I've heard that mb's can't be trusted. My koolance reads 28C and my mb reads 39C. Ah, man. That's a crapload of a difference. Heh, I kind of trust my case more if you know what I mean. Please help. If you know about the DUP mb's, I would like to hear your thoughts and temps! Thanks.

First off, look to make sure that you're comparing apples to apples. The newer Soyo mainboards have the ability to read the internal die temperatures of the Athlon XP processors. These will be considerably higher than the exterior temperatures that we are used to seeing. It is likely that this is the case for your results.

Core temps greatly differ to ambient temps. My CPU temp is 39C but my sys temp is 30C.
