Oh yeah baby.. just installed my new Swiftech MCX462+ Heatsink. I say heatsink because it does not come with a fan. I appreciate this because they don't give you a crappy no-namer or Delta Screamer.

The heatsink itsself can be adjusted to use either 70mm or 80mm fans. I'm using an 80mm Thermaltake Smart Case Fan II with it.

Bottom line: Before, I was using a Thermaltake Volcano 9 that idled at 44.5C in a room 25C ambient. I had an immediate drop of 4C at idle, bringing it to a nice cool 40C.

    After 20 minutes of Q3A Demoloop (+timedemo 1) it was only 43.2C!

The heatsink is expensive, retailing for US$47.95, but if you're in the market for the best... Get it.

Nice :thumb: My computer idles at 40c with the volcano 7+. I am going to mod my case in the future to have a 120mm blow hole on the top. :thumb:

That's a centrifugal fan/blower. That one's from an industrial clothes dryer but the ones in automotive ventilation systems work very well to. You only need one of them, no other fans necessary. :devil win
