i have a question>>>>>>>>>>>plz dont laugh...........
is it possible to"air condition" your case?
meaning rig up a small refrig. compressor to an evaporater and feed the refrigorated air into the case?
would condensation be an issue?
maybe i should start a new thead?????????
is there life after death?
rambling along.

I'm using the asus ipanel which plugs into the m/board and reads the temps from the diode in the proccessor die. This could mean that asus probe is acurate after all?
or am i just believing more hype about these asus products?

hey wiggo ... do you think the thermal rating on your v7+ would make much difference to my sys ?
i mean buying one of those or pehaps something a bit more exotic?
the guys at www.coolpc.com.au suggest a theralright slk 800 with a Tt 80mm smart fan.does this sound ok?
want to keep the cost of fan less than the CPU if I can.lol
oh and yes it will fit if I use a shim to take the weight!!!!!!!

I wouldn't use a shim myself but with that Thermalright slk 800 with a Tt 80mm smart fan II you'll be doin' very well indeed so long as ya use those extra feet supplied. :thumb:

cool!
What do you think of optus's new billing stratergy?
singtel strikes at its aussie custtomers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i preferred the possible 18gig a month on the old scheme.
ive had to really slow down to stay within the 3 gig limit as the next level is too dear to go to and the 10 gig level at $200+ per month sounds like something out of the "TELSTRA" book of how to screw your customers and make billions in profit while steadily reducing the quality and quantity of service!!!!!!!!!!
there now that I've spat that out I feel MUCH better!
I shall now attempt to stick to the thread subject and my appoligies to all and sundry!:hammer: :flames: :bounce:

Well.... if you want to go to the darkside, click here. There are plenty of water cooling solutions there, though I'm not quite sure someone has done what you've mentioned. Although, there is someone who took a small refridgerator and rigged it cool.
