  • worth the trouble you think?

    g'day!..

ATM I'm running an Enermax 710B case with 2 x 8cm intakes at the front and another 2 sucking out the back and my temps aren't too foul but I was wondering if I shtuck a 12cm fan on the side blowing directly onto the cpu if it's help cool it down anymore?

This is the best setup for those cases that I've found. ;)

Also what sort of temps are ya gettin' under full load (and include the room temp as that is very important)? Plus what sort of HSF are ya usin'? :?:

i have my side fan blowing next to the v-card. i find that more helpful . I donno if it wil work, but try using a duct for the cpu. i used a coustem made duct for my TT 7+ and it lowereed by 2 degrees

under full load it never breachs 50 and thats on a stinking hot day after hours of gaming/drinking and I'm using a Coolmaster 7+

are those vantec 12cm fans very loud?

and our pc's are in a room with aircon.

well ive got one in my side panel feeding my cpu cooler and it drops the temps huge. its pretty much like not having the side panel on. As for putting one just below the gfx card thats a great idea, ill be doin that myself soon. thats one of the worst hot spots where heat gets trapped. hope this helps
