It uses a phase change cooling method using a compressor like you would find in a refrigerator or freezer type environment. It offers operating temperatures in the -20 to -40C range; and yes, that is degrees Celsius BELOW ZERO.

If you decide on this type of cooling solution, make damn sure the seller includes the necessary equipment designed to fight the condensation that will occur when using it.
