that is a good tip, unless you happen to have an Epox mobo, the thermistor sits well below the cpu ( a good 2 mm)
but with the new boards comming out that support the thermistor in XP cpus, there won't be much need for any of this anymore.. of course that means upgrading just for the sake of better temp readings *sigh* then again manufacturers should have been a lot quicker using this ability grrr :
