All of Doc's look very plain. Black foam with black plastic support structure. A design like a fan sculpture would be nice.

Check the aluminum fan filters over at xoxide.com.. they're a little overpriced, but they'll give you an idea of what they look like. They perform pretty well, and you can get them for as cheap as $1.50US.

Aluminum/Stainless filters offer high levels of air passage while efficiently filtering contaminants and shielding EMI/RFI. Their tightly woven stainless corrugated mesh screens offer the highest performance. Designed to fit all 80mm fans, filters may be mounted directly onto the fan or to any other housing. 80mm Fan Filter.
