    but, for the jigsaw question,
    go out and buy a special blade to cut metal..
    thats what i did :)

      Metal blades have many teeth per inch (like 32). Sould be marked on the blade.

        Use no less than a 32pt metal cutting saw blade (that means that 24pt ones are out). :thumb:

          Wiggo, are there any particular brands that you use that last longer than others. Blades seem to dull fairly quickly for me.

            They only do that if the speed is to fast or your forcing it to cut faster than it should. ;)

              Well I do exhibit some impatience at times. Try to go slow then or can you go too slow?

                  Yeah, not like my original "training" on a jigsaw for cutting holes in dry wall for AC vents for my Dad's AC company. "Do it fast & cover your sloppiness with the grill." Then the "instructor" went to 7-11 and bought another 12 pack.
