front case LED's not working

    front case LED's not working

    I've got an Aspire X-Dreamer case that's loaded with all new components. The problem is the power LED and the HDD activity LED don't light up. I believe they are connected to the MOBO in the right places and as far as I know LED's don't really burn out. Just wondering if anyone had a similar problem before or knows what might be up. TIA

    Make sure that you have the +/- wires the right way around or LED's won't work.

      I just had the power LED leads on the wrong posts (doh!) But I'm guessing that the front LED for HDD activity isn't working because it reacts to activity on a IDE hard drive and I have a SATA drive? Just a guess..
