That's a fine question. Direct and to the point.
      Been wondering that myself:D
The reason a diamond shines so brightly is because it has many facets which reflect light.

my UV coldcathode just arrived in the mail

i have to thank james again,.. for yet another lovely conversation over the phone (interstate)

anyhow..enough talk heres my 2 neons i have... 1) a standard BlackUV Neon (bought from pccasegear) 2) a new sound sensitive BlackUV neon from pccasegear

as you can see.. the coldcathode almost lights up the entire case by itself... (and 15% of the room also)

heres a shot of where i placed the inverter and sound box... (inverter is at bottom left corner, and the sound box is on the 2nd PSU)

note.. i have 2 psu's cause i run all my cooling, lighting, and HDD's off one.. and everything else of the other.

the orange crap was my attempt to get some uv reaction going.. its URGENT tape you put on mail boxes... im gonna use some reflective orange stuff that are on council workers shirts..
and the molex's have been coloured in with green highliters

also.. the quake1 applique (also bought from pccasegear) shines quite nicely with the neon there.. im going to coat it in some UV reflective stuff later on..

things that arnt shown.. is my fans.. which the blades are coated in uv pens....
