  • Building a rheostat for 3 fans...(powerful)

I have a intake fan in my computer(look at the avatar!), its an steel automotive fan about 2 amps.. i want to add two more of these on the top of my case and control them with a rheostat... how do i build that...can i take a standard rheostat for lightbulbs... could look nice on the bottom of the case! (Can't look uglier! )
    What do you think??

Oh and these will be powered by my 150W AT power supply that i will put on the top of my case.:thumb:

One more thing, i can get radial fans, like a blower, are they more powerful or more noisy?

I saw this thread before, and I was working on my own fan controller issues. I found a few things. Here is a fan controller you can build yourself, though the parts may be a bit hard to find as it's a British article. Here is a great place to start figuring out what controller you need. Hope that helps ya. :thumb:
