[SN68SG2] "Cold boot" problem

Hi,
I've a problem when i boot the SN68 after a sleep time (2-3h), fans spin, the blue light goes on but nothing on screen.
I must power down and power up again for see my shuttle boot really.

Config:
X2 5000+ 65nm (Brisbane)
Crucial Ballistix 2x1Go PC5300
Albatron 7600gt

The problem is present with or without the 7600gt, memtest didn't find error and i've the last BIOS.
I tried too to increase VCore, VDDR, but no results!

I found similars problems with this shuttle on other forums.
So i think probes give bad values, and SN68 goes in "security mode".
Maybe i'm wrong, but i need help !

Just bought a SN68SG2 and I believe I have the same problem.

Here is what I have:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
2x GEIL 1GB PC2-6400
Samsung 500GB SATA HD
Lite-On DVD Burner (SATA)
Using the onboard graphics adaptor
Windows XP Pro

Also upgraded to the latest BIOS - SN68SS0H.

From other forums I have read, the only successful remedy appears to be replacement of the originally supplied 250 Watt PS with a Shuttle PC50 300 Watt version. Not a cheap fix unfortunately.

Others have recommended a slight over voltage on the CPU or RAM, but it looks like you've already experimented here without success.

Very frustrating. Any help would be much appreciated.

I also had the same problem....sometimes no display after shutdown....and after I send to reseller to repair, it work well now. But reseller didn't tell me what happened of my SN68. Maybe guys you can try send your XPC to your reseller

=> yuanshuo, maybe your reseller has change the 250W PSU with the 300W model like MJB has said.

I am guessing some people should resolve such behaviour by using the shortcut wire trick how it was with the 440 lx mobo's ten years ago ;)
