what is the improvement over PCI-E? It says that on the website. I m running 8800 GT, is it something I should be worried about?

no, if your's is already working then you dont have to worry about it.
however you will need the BIOS update if your planning on using 45nm processors in the future.

yeah, my bios is z version. so this bios just adds more pci-e cards compatibility into it? do you have the list? what are the 45nm cpu?

yes, the bios update supports additional pci-e card compability.
Intel E8 and Q9/Qx9 series CPU's are the new 45nm processors.
