SB75g2 Mother Board

Hi, I have a Shuttle system that is about 5 yrs old now with the sb75g2 Mother Board, running a P4/ 3ghz processor,1.25 gig ram,and Nvidia 5600/256 Graphics card.I use this for gaming.

Can this be over clocked
Can i update this mother Board and still use this processor,Ram etc.to gain better performance?

hey projectile,

Most likely not, the SB75G2 uses socket 478 CPUs while all the current MB only support socket 775 CPUs. I think you would have the same problem with RAM and the lack of support for AGP graphics card on the newer boards.
As with over-clocking your system, it can improve performance but not much.
