I wish to use a zotac ION ITX ATOM N330 motherboard. It has a mini PCI Epxress slot. Can I use an 8 or 16GB SATA module in this board and then make it bootable for Ubuntu/Linux. will one of your ASUS only modules work or do you have otherr more generic PCIe SSD modules.

    Thanks

It may be the same port but the pins out are different. On that port you can only put wireless boards, tv-tuner...and maybe intel turbo memory.

AlexutuS is correct it will not work if it is not wired for a SATA Bus SSD/HDD. But the 32GB 2.5" Pro IV SSD would work well for that.

        Thanks for the info
It seems as though the "generic" specs are drifting apart again!
different pin out rules for different version of the same physical socket.
