  • Runcore 64gb zif - everun note

    Hi
    I'm desperate...
I've buyed 10 days ago a runcore ssd 64 gb zif 1.8" for my everun note.
My pc get stuck after 10-15 minutes of use, sometimes with blue screen.

Probably the problem is the high temperature into the everun hdd case.

Have anyone had the same problem?
Can someone help me to resolve it?

    thanks

No, it appears during normal use.
So I have to make a reboot and often everun doesn't complete the XP start.

I've to wait 10 min to cooling the ssd to make a new boot

hi baudo, runcore 1.8" zif ssd could work excellent from 0 to 70 centigrade degrees, so maybe u check whether the cpu fan and radiator are work fine or not. also u can use the original hdd to see whether the abnormity happened again or not~

Re: Runcore 64gb zif - everun note

          Thanks Chris

I've replaced ssd with the original hdd (samsung).
Note that the original hdd is designed to work until 65 centigrade degrees.

Now everun work well. "Core temp" indicates the same cpu operating temperature (range 40-65), but in fact, hand touching, the hdd case is less hot.

Maybe I have a defective ssd?

The ssd is into the portable case, connected through usb port. At the moment is working fine (but I'm not making a significant use), but sometimes it is unstable. Win xp points out problem of identify the ssd, problem of I/O, and if at boot time the ssd is connected, the pc doesn't start.

hi baudo, maybe it is a good one~~
you could upside down the ssd and connect to the portable case, in case to avoid the problem of I/O error.

ssd works only in its portable case.
I've just tried it again into the pc case, but everun get stuck.
I've buyed it to speed up the pc but in fact I've to use it only for storage data...
