Hi,
I recently bought a ASUS Strix Geforce 1080 GTX and had to remove the HDD cage from my Lian-Li PC 9F case or else the GPU wouldn't fit into the case. Slapping my head for not measuring first but oh well...
Tried to looking at the Lian Li parts catalogue to see if there is a modular HDD cage system for the PC9F but couldn't find one. Does that exist ?
The case has 3 x 5.25 bays (currently one being used for a DVD RW drive, one for frontside USB and one for nothing). As I have 4 hard drives (1 x 2.5 SSD and 3 x 3.5 HDD), I was thinking of ditching the DVD and front USB (which I don't use anyway) and put these drives into a Lian Li EX-36B1: Lian-Li Global | EX-36
My question is, is the EX-36B1 compatible with the PC 9F so called "tool less" 5.25 bays ?
What other parts could you recommend for the PC 9F ?
