Kingston SNV125-S2BN/64GB

I just got my 1st SSD, a Kingston SNV125-S2BN/64GB. It is connected via usb. When I look at it in win7-64 Disk Management console, it shows three parts, two unallocated and one "OEM Partition", which it won't delete (right mouse button over and the only menu item is help). I want to reformat it to be one large partition but it win7 won't let me. I tried formating one of the unallocated partitions and then expanding it, but it won't allow me do the expand.

Any suggestions?

Try using a partition software instead, here is a free one that is good

Easeus
Free Download Partition Manager software.

Of course if you want to fully format it, it would need to not be the OS drive. Just stating the obvious for those who may be unaware.

Thanks! I resolved the issue by using the CD that came with the SSD. It allowed me to delete the existing partition and format NTFS. Now all I need is a way to reformat it to ext3 in windows.

Was able to reformat to ext3 using GParted. Worked great! Now onto testing with my PCH C-200.
