B550 Gigabyte Aorus Master -F16b Bios magical operation (finally to this hi end motherboards) relating to USB externals.
After swearing and frustaration with the B550 Aorus Master motherboard on all bios to date (F14 seemed best but only passable) F16b is a breath of technical operation that does in fact operate.
Having putchased this hi end ccomputer I was disapointed with the frequent disapearance and operation with external hard drives, usb sticks etc. Tried contacting gigabye who really did not want to know or offer any support/replacement.
Moving on F16b installed and while i was sick of trying all the F15 versions, thinking yes its good now, then rolling back to F14, the latest release is proving that the hardware matched with the F16b bios is workable and stable. well done Gigabyte, just why did it take so long?
As a personal home machine nothing like a hard day to settle down and have problems with a hi end expensive computer where the bandaid to make work was to turn off and disable and derate options and performance that was the reason why the product was putchased in the first place.
Good work Gigabyte, Now with Ryzen 5800x runnning at full steam and no other parameter nobbled it is chugging away and working with all external USB hard drives, memoery sticks, printers/scanners and external usb HDD interface cradle, and usb ereader, android phone connection.
So please work on and eventually release F16 to a grateful audience. thanks.
