I've installed two new hard disks in my system and want to set them up as a RAID-1 set, the process I followed was:
1. Enable VMD in the BIOS, but only for the SATA ports
2. Create the RAID-1 set in the BIOS
3. Install the latest Intel RST drivers in the OS (Win 11)
This all seems pretty simple, except the RAID volume doesn't show up at all. If I go back and disable VMD, the drives show up as expected.
