  • Maximum ratio (x39) with 4,06GHz for i7 4770 on GA Z87X-UD3H?

    Hey there,

I have a GA Z87 XUDH3 and an i7 4770 processor. I would like to max the combo out when it's on working on all 4 cores. The maximum is a ratio of x39 with 3,9GHz I think. But when I set every core on x39, it still sticks at x37 with 3,66GHz. I found this thread Problem with Gigabyte Z87x-D3H and i7 4770 non-k -> can not set 3,9GHz on all turbo cores! Please help

I was wondering if anyone has a modded version of the last BIOS available for this board (10b or 9) as I cannot downgrade the board anymore.

Also I read somewhere else, that you can push the BLCK to 104 without any problems, so i would get 4,06 GHz. Is this correct?

    Thanks!
    Mark

OK, I found all the modded Versions for th GA Z87X UDH3... But I still haven't figured out how I get all the cores work at x39.

I tried disabling the turbo, I tried disabling all the energy saving functions... Is there anything I am missing?

I figured it out now. Just in case anybody wants to know, here's what I did: Just change the microcode with MMTool to 06C307. Then everything works just fine.
