  • freeze when windows 8/10 and csm support enabled

    hi,

I would like your opinion with a problem I have with my computer.
the motherboad is a H170 - D3HP and the processor is an intel skylake 6500. In the bios:
when i select windows 8/10 features to windows 8/10 and csm support to disabled i have freeze and error message with amd driver (crimson). maily in game
when i select windows 8/10 features to other os and csm support to enabled everything works.

my graphic card is an rx 480 so it is uefi
I created an UEFI Bootable USB

any idea on why i can't use uefi version instead of bios?

    thks for your help

well, i installed windows with the setting explained here:
Solved Secure Boot and Windows 8 Activation

once i did it, i have freeze randomly.

then I go to bios, set windows 8/10 to other os and csm support to ENABLED

      and no more freeze.
