  • Gigabyte GA-990FX-Gaming - ventilator speed problems

I just buy my first Gigabyte MBO and for first time I see strange settings for ventliator speed?

My Noctua NH-D15 is pluged in CPU header without Noctua silencer but I don't know how to set my Noctua speed at max?

Maximum speed of Noctua is 1500 RMP (+/- 10%) but my speed is right now 960 RPM.

All power settings in BIOS /UEFI is disabled.

Ventilator settings in "PC Health Status":

CPU Fan Controle Mode: PWM (Noctua OFC have 4 pin)
CPU Fan Speed Control: Disabled ("Allows the fan to run at full speeds")

With that settings my speed is around 960 RPM!

Now, one 120 mm fan with 3-pin settings is connected to "SYS_FAN1 Connector".

1st System Fan Speed Control (SYS_FAN1 Connector): Disabled (" Allows the fan to run at full speeds")

With that settings I get 991 RPM and that's ok because max fan speed is 1000RPM.

I don't want to install some 3rd party software for my fan speed, I just want to set max speed in BIOS /UEFI and please can I get answer how to get max speed on CPU header for my Noctua NH-D15 (1500RPM, not 960RPM).

OK, 1200-1300 RPM will be OK but 960RPM is not so great.

All MBO's I have is have normal speed settings but this Gigabyte is not so great and I don't want to install some software just because bad BIOS settings.

    Thanks!

    Edit:

After few restarts, with this settings my CPU fans is work on full speed:

    CPU Fan Controle Mode: PWM
    CPU Fan Speed Control: Disabled

Ok, this thing is fixed but how to get cca 1200 RPM when default speed is 1500 RPM (fan is PWM and this setting is for CPU)?
