I'm looking to upgrade to some faster memory for my motherboard (GA-Z68XP-UD3 rev 1.0). Current BIOS version is F10. I currently have 8GB of the following memory installed.
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL - Newegg.com
Was thinking of either of the following:
G.SKILL TridentX Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C9D-16GTX - Newegg.com
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C9D-16GXH - Newegg.com
Will either of the above 2 work with my current board? And how much of a gain (Performance wise) would there be compared to just adding 2 (8GB total) more of the same modules I'm currently running.
Thanks
