  • Scanning BIOS Image in Hard Drive problem

    Hi!
I was screwing around with an old PC that i found in the dumpster, it worked fine so i decided to clean it and have fun with it
I decided to update BIOS using @bios program (i know, it was stupid idea), got a bluescreen and after reboot:

    Award BootBlock BIOS V1.0
    Copyright (c) 2000, Award Software

Scanning bios image in hard drive ...

OK fine so i connected HDD via IDE, formatted for FAT32 and downloaded few BIOS'es (gigabyte 7vt600) - few versions, unpacked and packed etc
Left the PC for about an hour and still Scanning bios ... I noticed that hdd led wasnt flashing, hell, i even unplugged hdd and after restart got the same scanning hdd.

I cant go to bios or boot from other media.

Any suggestions except throwing mb back to trash?

    Thanks.
    (sorry for my english)

Is the bios chip removable? See if you can locate another.
