  • Z170 Motherboard HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2

    I appreciate finally being able to obtain accurate information!

    Like so many other HTPC users, I want a motherboard that handles HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2. It seems Gigabyte has two Z170 based motherboards that may meet this requirement:

    'GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0)'
    'GA-Z170X-Gaming G1 (rev. 1.0)'

    I've seen specs stating they support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP, but no version number is shown for HDCP.

    Can you confirm HDCP 2.2 is supported?

    Thank you!

    * Support for HDMI 1.4a version !
    I'm too waiting for one, it appears that in order to support 60Hz it needs the Alpine Ridge chipset which isn't fitted to any mobo's yet.
