Hi all...are there any overclocking guides for this board. Managed to get it to 4.2 @1.286 v but having trouble getting the cpu volts to drop when idling..seems to be at 1.286 all the time. Cant see an option in bios to set it...or if there is one I don't know what is called.

think you have to set the cpu voltage to normal,this unlocks dvid(dynamic voltage)

whatever amount normal cpu voltage runs the cpu at,the extra cpu v needed to be stable you add through dvid,this gets applied only at load

so for example stock cpu clocks/normal voltage gives you 1.2v and you need 1.25v to be stable once verclocked you add +0.050v in dvid

each loadline calibration will affect load cpu v aswell so take that into account,maybe try high llc

enable all speedstep and power saving states in the bios,thoseled by default anyway so if you havn't touched them then no need to mess

adjust the llc and dvid to suit your load cpu voltage needs/till you get the right stable amount

Just an update.
Managed to get this to 4.2ghz at 1.110 volts. Temps idle at 30 and goes to 60/63 at full load running aida stress test. Didnt work out how to get the volts to drop but at 1.110 v I am not to bothered. Very good board and I think I got a good chip as well.. memory running at 2666 at stock volts from 2400mhz stock.
