I have a GA-z97x-gaming gt that is failing to power on. At first i thought the PSU was out (Corsair HX850) so I RMA'd the PSU. The Motherboard does not power up with the replacement PSU either. The replacement PSU (also an HX850) passes Corsair's paperclip test. I never tested the original Corsair HX850 that I RMA'd.
The Motherboard's power button light flashes once when I press the power up button on the PSU but nothing turns on. No fan comes on. There are no numeric codes of any kind - that little 2 digit display near the Motherboard's power button does not even show anything, no light, no digits.
The computer pretty much just stopped working cold turkey. Turned it off at night, could not turn it back on the next day.
I've submitted a support ticket with Gigabyte but am at a loss as to what I could troubleshoot next. My computer specs are listed below:
I will greatly appreciate any help you can provide me in troubleshooting this. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information to help troubleshoot.
Thank you,
Jawad
