I was playing around flashed a modified bios to my reference gtx 980 video card. Somehow the original bios did not save correctly and will not flash back. Need a copy of the original for GV-N980D5-4GD-B. Thanks RKD.

I don't have the Gigabyte D5 (I have the G1) but you might have better success getting stock bios from Overclock.net NVIDIA Forums more specifically from this thread [Official] NVIDIA GTX 980 Owner's ClubOriginally posted by RKDxpress View Post

Thanks. OCN is were I got the modified bios. (great site) So I downloaded and flashed the generic Nividia 980 bios from Techpowerup. That worked now I wonder about the G1 bios compared to the Refernce bios? Might not be a safe thing. RKD.Comment

I dont recall where i read it but it is NOT a good idea to flash a non-reference bios to a reference card. This is due to the custom PCBs that non reference cards use.Originally posted by RKDxpress View PostComment
