Hi Stasio, I'm just trying to work out which Temp in HWInfo is for the PCH on the X99-SOC Force. Just prepped the board for some cold running and had to remove the heat sink, so I just want to make sure i got the mount right.

Have you checked out System Information Viewer SIV version 4.47 released on 14-Sep-2014?- Improved Intel Core i7 (Haswell-E) and X99 Chipset support.

Hi prof', I got the latest version from the thread, but I'll check which version it is. Also I am aware of the bios page (thx though) and all is good there @29-30c. It's just I wanted to check the temps under load to make sure I mounted it right.

You might be surprised at how many users are not familiar with with many portions of the bios.
I suggested the PC Health screen because it might have helped you to determine which HWiNFO entry (at idle) might have corresponded to the PCH Temperature reading in the bios.Q9650 @ 4.10GHz [9x456MHz]
