GA-Z97X-UD5H Rev 1.0 vs Rev 1.1

Hi all,

This is first post in the forum, although I have visiting from many years browsing through the forums.


I just bought GA-Z97X-UD5H and I was expacting rev 1.1 but the supplier has sent rev 1.0.

I would like to know what changes there are inbetween these two version?

Should I return this mobo or keep it?

Need advice please.

I am also very new on this fine board.
They show no information if you compare the two boards on Gigabyte's website as I can see it.
When looking at the same picture of rev 1.0 and rev. 1.1, I can only see the rev. number as a difference.

It could very easy be a minor design change that is the reason for a new version.

Since they do not mention any changes between the boards it might not be worth it to try and get the "change" board. If it is even released yet.

I am trying to find out what exactly has been changed apart from "Audio Noise Guard with LED path lighting" if LED path is only change then I may use this mobo instead of swapping for a revision 1.1.
