  • Z9X UD5H F6 BIOS: Doesn't remember I want USB to have highest priority

I'm surprised by this problem ... can't find a way around it ... help please! This motherboard (GA-Z97X-UD5H, F6 BIOS) doesn't remember that I want a USB drive to be highest in the boot priority order. Every time I stick in a (different) USB stick I have to set the priority on boot via the BIOS or I boot my standard OS from HDD. Other motherboards (including my previous Gigabyte boards) didn't do this - they remembered that any USB drive came before my HDD. So ... is this fixable? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks! -- David

Go to normal mode in BIOS....BIOS Features/Boot Option Priorities..choose your USB as Boot Option 1.....then "Save and Exit".
