monitor won't wake up from sleep

In power options I set monitor to sleep after 1 min, hdd - 2 min, pc - 3 min. Sometimes monitor won't wake up (2 of 10 times). I opened pc case and everything looks normal - cpu, video card, pc case fans spins. Led code on mobo is A0, but keyboard was inactive, mouse was active, but can't wake up monitor. If i turn off pc from case button, everything works normal. When I try to restart pc from reset button I get 1 long 3 short beeps, but...i heard in background skype start up sound??? Seems Windows loaded. I fix problems with audio, disabling sbx pro studio sh*ts, when set default memory timings and voltage I fix blue screens, but for that can't find solution.

Accidentally or not, with amd driver 14.3 beta monitor won't wake up 2 of 10 times, with the final 14.4 - 2 of 5 times. Perhaps video driver issue or memory issue. I boot from usb and test memory with memtest86+ for 1 hour and result is 0 errors. Test memory with windows tool - no errors. I don't kwon what to do. All drivers and windows 8.1 pro 64 bit is updated. Bios version is f2 moded. With f3 is the same.

p.p with Windows 7 64bit i do not have this problem, but was with windows 7 only for 10-20 days.

tried with and without x.mp enabled for your memory? usually sleep issues are memory/setting related as it saves the sleep state to and resumes from the memory

I installed Windows 7 64bit and amd driver 13.12. For two days test different sleep modes (power saver/balanced) 7-8 times. No problems. Every time when mouse click, monitor wake up. I do not know what to think. Buggy windows 8.1 pro or 14.4 amd driver...or may be sapprhire trixx software for fan control.

Bios settings is default. Memory 1600Mhz cl11 1.5v. Bios shows 1.524.

Is it bad for pc to test 10-20 times per days different sleep modes? Because I will test next few days and install one by one programs. I suspect 14.4 amd driver/riva tuner statistic server/hdparm/sapphire trixx, which do not use under windows 7, but using under windows 8.1 pro, when have this problems.

it could be the 14.4 amd driver,ive had it crash a few times on me

only way to know is to test each thing,and no it wont hurt to test sleep

I update Windows 7, install hdparm and rtss 6.1 - no problems. For three days, 15 of 15 times monitor wake up. Next few days will install sapphire trixx and perhaps 14.4 amd driver. Is it possible do not have hardware problem or always is hardware problem, when hear ''beeps''?

And can you recommend programs to test pc for hardware problems/errors etc? Prime95/Aida64/IntelBurn Test is it reliable for Haswell? Aks, because they heavy load cpu and vcore voltage increased to 1.20. Is it good to test with Prime95/Aida64 for 24 hours?

not for 24 hours,not with haswell as it runs very hot,just use normally and if it crashes add touch more cpu voltage

1.2v cpu voltage is fine

and pc beeps once at startup which is normal,if it beeps more than that then theres an issue somewhere

I mean is it possible this issues (1 long 3 short beeps) to be related with OS/driver, not with hardware failure? Or always is hardware failure? I asking, because with windows 7 do not have any issues. If 'one long three short beeps' always and 100% related with hardware failure, I will send motherboard for replacement.

20-25 sleep mode 'tests' - no problem. Monitor always wake up properly.

After month and more without problems, the problem appeared again, when I install trixx utility. Set monitor to sleep after 1 min, hdd - 3 min, pc - 5 min and monitor won't wake up. But this time, when restart pc from pc case button, I not heard 1 long 3 short beeps. No beeps this time, but b2 code on mobo led. I should to turn off/on pc from pc case button to be able to load Windows.

Without trixx utility/msi afterburner 3.0.1 - no problems. With them - this is the result
Buggy drivers/software or have to send for warranty replacement mobo or video card or both?

the trixx/afterburner software is causing the issues somehow

You have amd video card and if you want try this - run at the same time you tube video, fishbowl benchmark, foobar2000 and movie. During playback run afterburner 3.0.1. Or can try this with 14.1-14.4 driver
