  • Linux Mint 16 and Raid 1..possible?

I am discarding Win XP in favour of Linux Mint 16 but am having problems when trying to access Raid 1 setup.
I have found Linux driver files in the Gigabyte install disc, but have no idea how to use them.
When I access the drives info, I find disc 1 has used areas, but disc 2 seems to be partitioned but no data written as the partitions are empty.
    The motherboard? A GA-P55-USB3
    Any information gratefully received.
    Regards Dave.....

Think you'll have to go software raid on this chipset or get an add in card with linux support.
