  • Ga z87x ud5 th freezing

    hi all,
    i have a lot of random freezes with my Z87XUD5TH + 4770k + 32gb Corsair 1600mhz
in the bios my speed ram is by default at 1333mhz and the problem is worse if i change by 1600mhz (profile1)
    I thinks i'm not a isolated case.
my bios actualy is F2 (the latest). what do you think if i use the f3c beta?

if somebody can help me tha'ts will be cool? :-)
    regards,

    Sam

Hi and welcome to our forum.

First, please list all your hardware........eg.4x8GB Corsair model.......

Second,...to compesate Haswell IMC with 32GB of RAM,you should increase some stock memory voltage as:
    -VSA.......+0.05-0.1V....eg.1.1V
    -VIOA......+0.05-0.1V
    -VIOD......+0.05-0.1V
    -VDIMM....+0.2-0.5V....eg.1.55V

If you browsing with Firefox,be sure to disable in Tools/Advanced/General/Use hardware acceleration when available

    Edit:
    Hope you running on stock......
    Use CPU-Z 1.64.0....or HWiNFO/AIDA64...for proper reading
    Btw,
set CPU Base Clock to Manual (100MHz)....Auto set to 99.78MHz

Yes,you can try F3c.....anytime you can flash back to F2.

          i will try..

this afternoon, i changed with an other brand (Kingston) 2 sticks only (16gb) and it seems (for the moment) better, knowing that i guarded 1333mhz by security. i followed your advice too, only with manual cpu base clock 99,78.
2nd step: will be try with a second 16gb (32 in totality) with 1600mhz settings.

          I will let you know.
          thank you so much
