  • Debug code "D2" z77x UD5H

    Hi ! I'm currently using z77x UD5H with F16 mod 10.
PC is stable for few days, then it suddenly freeze. when I look at the debug LED, it is "D2". I checked the manual, D2 is PCH initialization error.
Googled it, so far I can't find the cause of this problem.
It would be nice if someone knows and help me !

Did you test RAM with Memtest86+....?
Are you on stock or set XMP in BIOS (for RAM)?

Instead of XMP,try to set manually......seems some RAM voltages (or other) is to low.

                  the label on RAM said it can run at 9 - 11 - 9 -27 1.5v, but the XMP profile set them RAM at 9 - 11 - 10 - 27 1.5v.

when I set it 9 11 9 27 in the BIOS, and testing it with intel burn test, it gives me fault results.

so i have to use the XMP profile.

You didn't mention whether this problem existed on previous BIOS versions. I bring it up because I had system crashes with F16 mod 10. I flashed back to F16 mod 6 and the problem went away.
