    ME Firmware 9.0.30.1482

    Hey,

    I have been having some issues with my g1 sniper 5. Its nothing major but I was looking at the modified bios and it says to flash

    ME Firmware 9.0.30.1482 if its not included in the bios. Is this safe to do? im looking at flashing the f8b mod for a g1 sniper 5.

      Thanks So much,

      I just flashed it. really cool and I checked my me version with tool you provided it did update to 1482. So if I have any problems I can just clear cmos and flash back to a gigabyte bios and will it downgrade and put everything back stock?

      Also in the forum with f8b for the sniper 5 it says marvell 91xx .. g1 sniper 5's have a 92xx right?

        Of course you can revert back to a previous BIOS, then ME FW will revert back too.

        Yes you're right : Sniper 5 use Marvell 92xx, but it's updated with the same ROM version than 91xx.
