P55A-UD7 Problems: No Video Display

Hey guys,
My 1st post on these forums, unfortunately for help.
I just got a used Gigabyte P55A-UD7 motherboard from a friend (tested with his rig; working absolutely fine) as my earlier Intel motherboard went kaput (just went kaput !). Have installed the Giga mobo with an i5-750, 4GB Corsair Vengeance, CM Extreme 500 and an old HD4950 (yeah, lol). All these were working just fine with my old mobo.
After installing the Giga mobo, I am not getting display. Also the LED light codes are sorta funny. I searched online for decoding as to what should be on while booting and what should remain on post-boot, but no luck.
Have made a short video of the same (sorry for a bad one. Don't generally make vids. Just an upload from mobile):

On connecting to the mains, the blue PWR comes on. After pressing the power button, ALL the LEDs start glowing:
MPLED: Green and yellow
VPLED: Green and yellow
All PHASE LEDs.
They switch off when POST reads "FF", and the PC continues to boot as evident by the HDD light and activity sound. Note there's NO POST beep.
All the fans are running fine. CPU/Cabinet/PSU/Graphics card.

What can be wrong ?

Have you tried using a different monitor, video cable or graphics card?
Do you have working case speaker connected to the front panel connector pins?

what display cables are you using? hdmi/dvi/vga? try all those if you have the option,
