  • BIOS image (id) mismatch

    Hi all,
I know how to upgrade BIOS to UEFI for my motherboard (z68ap-d3 rev.2.0). One week ago I had to downgrade to the BIOS. Unfortunately I used Back2Award and BIOS but from rev.1.0 and now I can't upgrade to UEFI because it gives me error "Bios id mismatch". Is there any method to force-upgrade or change to BIOS for my revision of mobo? I know that @BIOS aren't nice for that but I tried that and it gives me error "Unkown bios vendor".

    Thanks for answers ^^

          Re: BIOS image (id) mismatch

Can you post CPU-Z/Mainboard pic...to see which BIOS you are running.......
or try to kick Backup BIOS.

          Edit:
If you are on rev.1.0 BIOS,use @BIOS and my link to flash back to rev.2.0.

Is there any "karma" to give you for help? :D

Edit: Is this the latest version of UEFI or I have to update?

                Re: BIOS image (id) mismatch

So i've done the same thing, only opposite situation. I thought i had a rev2 board, but in actuality its a rev1. I flashed the Ua5 UEFI bios which is intended for rev2, and now i can't flash back to the latest rev1 bios which is non UEFI. I've tried @bios and using a bootable usb but neither seem to work. Is there anything I can do?

EDIT: would it be ok just to keep using the rev2 bios and updating under rev2 ?
