Am going to upgrade another PC and will be going Haswell and 1150. And for some strange reason I am looking at Gigabyte again. Maybe I am a masochist and love the pain and anguish they cause.
I guess being familiar around Gigabyte mobos ( like the error display LCD ) and their web site is an advantage and am considering one of these :
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H Motherboard $315
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H Motherboard $275
$40 isnt much especially if the UD5H is a superior board but reading some threads here it has some problems with USB3
Actually going to post a post in the Asus section and ask if they have something RELIABLE
requirements : Crossfire plus an accessible spare slot for pci-e x1 sound card
Reliable
use: gaming/some graphics work using GIMP / general use plus web
Major problem is basically all we get to see here are the problems with Gigabyte motherboards, you rarely get to see someone posting about how good and reliable they are
edit: am unable to post in "what to buy forum"
