Anyone still using this board? Juz got this board with a Q6600 processor and 2GB memory. Thinking of upgrading it to a Q9550 processor and the maximum of 8GB memory?

Can it support Q9550 processor?

Any comments?

Is the F15C the latest BIOS found in this post? If not, what's the latest BIOS?

The Q9550 is not included in the list.
Will the Q9550 work? Maybe.
Will the Q9550 be stable and work properly? Probably not.

Hi profJim, thanks for your reply. I already checked the gigabyte website that my board, rev 1.3, does not support q9550 processor so I'm posting here to ask if anyone knows or using one currently, perhaps with a unofficial bios.

Maximum of 8GB = 4 x 2GB should definitely works.
