I think that I made an invalid assumption where I thought that a motherboard at the UD5H level would use all possible Intel USB 3.0 ports. I don't know if using two Renesas hubs depends upon using four possible native Intel USB 3.0 ports. Did they go cheap with the current setup? We will probably need to compare the UD5H USB 3.0 setup with another brand or model that fully supports using all six of the Intel USB 3.0 ports.
It looks like the keywords are "Up to 6 x USB 3.0 Ports" in the first column.
