Mobo ga-z77x-ud3h help

Hey guys new to this forum but I am new with computers and recently made a big investment into a nice gaming machine, it was fine and dandy but now for about 2 weeks my mobo doesn't say A0 code like the book says but instead is always showing a code 04 and its not in the manual with all the other codes listed, I am wondering what it is and how to fix it, and to note again I am new so please make it in terms i could understand, I know there's probably forums about this and I came across one but I have no idea what they are talking about flashing bios and all that, so please help! THANKS GUYS!

does it bootup and work fine? or is it hanging on 04 error code?

Which Award bios version is your motherboard running?
According to Award BIOS Post Codes - BIOS Central it looks like 04 might mean "Memory refresh initialized; Test CMOS RAM interfaceis", which is an information code, not an error code.

It starts up fine, and works properly but when it first did this 04 code 3 of my usb ports didn't work on the back of the mobo for a week or a little less, then one day i started my computer and windows action center detected a problem and restarted my computer then they started to work again. and once i tried opening i-tunes for also a week when this usb problem happened it wouldnt let me open it saying i need to be the administrator even tho i was and I needed more memory but i have 1.7TB free on my computer, so I just don't want to run into any problems so i am trying to fix it, and if it is a error like your saying what type is it? i didn't understand,,boy I envy computer smart people!

1.7TB of free memory on your computer? WOW!!!
What specific issues or problems are you having with your computer right now.
Does windows Device Manager display any icons that indicate problem devices? If yes, post a cropped picture of the Device Manager window.

USB has giving a lot of probs with Z77 mobos

Have you installed all the drivers for your motherboard ?

Also would check the memory and this is one of the best places to get a program that will do this Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool. Basically you download the program and burn it on to a CD and select boot from Cdrom as your 1st boot priority
