GA-X79-UD5 is stuck on BIOS logo when starting with GTX 780

I just bought a new MSI GTX 780 and encountered weird problem with my GA-X79-UD5 (F12 BIOS). If I'm trying to start my PC with this card installed it's loading up to BIOS screen and just freezing on it. I'm unable to enter bios and it's only reacting on ctrl+alt+del.
And after a while (like 3-5 min) BIOS screen vanishes and all I can see is black screen with blinking cursor and nothing else.

I tried to clear CMOS and it didn't help.
If I replace GTX 780 with my old GTX 570 it's working fine. It also shouldn't be a PSU issue since I have a Corsair AX860 and as I said with my old GTX570 it's working fine.

What could be the reason of such kind of problem?

you probably need latest beta bios for such a new card

GA-X79-UD5 - F13s X79UD5.13s.zip

try with that bios and report back

Thanks for the suggestion and fast response.
But I decided to mess with BIOS a bit before trying a beta BIOS since I generally don't like to use those.

And I found a different solution to the problem. So what I did is switched PCI Rom Prioirty from UEFI to Legacy and suddenly it worked!

But I really hope Gigabyte will release a proper fix for this issue.

I literally registered for this site just so I could ask, are you me? I seriously have the same Mobo, same new GFX card, and even weirder I am upgrading from the same former card. You're freaking me out man hahaha. I obviously had the same problem as you and your solution worked great. Thanks! Updating the BIOS probably would have worked too but that takes a lot more work, and as a rule I am against work.
