i am new to the haswell i have overclocked to 4.2 but at loss as to volts as mine is at 1.213 under load and temps at 56c using AIDA64 do i need to change any thing else it was stable for 8hrs i am not wanting to clock any higher i set volt my self do i need to change ring volts or leave alone as it set to auto power saving all working so under clocks as should do , any pointers thanks am using i5 4670k ram is at 1600 and sniper z87 with f3b bios and h80 cooler custom by my self

You can set C6/C7 to Enabled in bios, it will let the cpu vcore drop down .1-.2 volts at idle.

As to the vcore setting, it sounds alright. If you are not OC the uncore, then just set it manually to 36 and set the Vring to 1.05v manually, this will keep the uncore & vring from increasing. If it becomes unstable, then gradually increase Vring....I don't know exactly what it takes for 4670K but all cpu's are different anyway.

what should i set CPU VRIN loadline calibration i have it set to turbo now should i change it

Either Turbo or Extreme should be fine.

my volts under load are
in hwinfo 64 are
core volts 1.224v
core vid 1.203 v to 1.200 v over the 4 cores
cpu vrin 1.800v
max temps using linx 0.64 = 78c x20 run all stable so far
bios volt s
vcore set to 1.203 v
cup vring set to 1.05
cup set to 42
uncore set to 36
rest as in posts above
do i need to change any thing for every day use now

now clocked to 4.3 with few changes and temps down
