I have a P31-DS3L and a HD 5870 that for some reason don't work so well together when it comes to OCing.
When I change host clock control to enabled it will restart as soon as the POST screen appears and reverts the host clock control to disabled. And please not another reply saying how I should change the PSU, it runs just fine OC problems aside, not a single restart during games or mining.
