Z77X-UD5H questions

1st Question
How do you know the difference between SATA 3Gb/s and SATA 6Gb/s cables ? I have blue and yellow cables but no markings on them . I have SSD drives and want to get the best out of them , does it matter ? Are the blue cables that come with the Gigabyte boards sata 6 GBs ?

2nd Question
How important is it to use the ATX4P ( PCIe connector ) when running crossfire ? I have 2 x 7970's and each have 2x 8 pin power connectors which I have with my PSU. Currently it seems to be running ok which usually means "if its working dont screw with it " but will the extra power do any good ?

SATA 3G 6G cables same.

I would plug in the the extra power to the board if I were you.

I've tried plugging into the extra port for my 2x 7950's and even with them highly overclocked I could tell no difference. So maybe for more than 2x cards it might help, less than 3 I don't see it making a difference.
But as always, try it for yourself and see.
